About the role

Join One of The Fastest Growing DTC Groups

Bettervits is one of the fastest growing in its industry and we're on a path to becoming the #1 vitamin brand in the UK. Having served millions of happy customers, we operate with speed, creativity and performance. Our culture is built on ownership, trust and results. No micromanagement, just high standards and people who love what they do.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Finance to take full ownership of our financial operations, commercial reporting, and financial strategy.

This isn’t traditional finance — it’s commercially driven, data-led, and directly tied to business performance. You'll lead the finance function of a fast-scaling, multi-channel DTC business, ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and clear visibility into the metrics that drive profitable growth.

You'll own financial planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and profitability analysis across our DTC, subscription, marketplace, and retail channels. Working closely with leadership and wider teams, you'll turn financial data into actionable insights that improve decision-making, strengthen unit economics, and support our next phase of growth.

The Profile

  • Proven experience leading finance within a high-growth DTC or eCommerce business, with a strong understanding of subscription-based revenue models.
  • Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and commercial analysis, with clear experience supporting profitable revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of DTC unit economics, including LTV, CAC, contribution margins, cohort profitability, and customer acquisition payback periods.
  • Experience building and managing financial models and reporting frameworks that provide clear visibility into business performance across multiple sales channels.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and financial systems, ideally NetSuite, including leading integrations, implementations, and process improvements.
  • Highly commercial and data-driven — able to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations that influence business strategy.
  • Exceptional communicator and operator — able to lead finance teams, manage external partners, and work closely with leadership to drive financial performance.

The Responsibilities

  • Own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across DTC, subscriptions, Amazon, marketplaces, and retail channels.
  • Build and maintain LTV/CAC models, customer cohort analysis, contribution margin reporting, and payback period forecasts to guide acquisition spend and profitability decisions.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), developing accurate forecasts, scenario models, and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the finance function, including management accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
  • Lead improvements to financial systems and processes, including NetSuite implementation, integrations, automation, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Partner closely with leadership, marketing, operations, and commercial teams to identify opportunities to improve margins, working capital, cash flow, and overall profitability.

The Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, including senior finance management or leadership roles.
  • Previous experience within a DTC or eCommerce business with subscription-based revenue is essential.
  • Proven experience building and managing LTV/CAC models, cohort analysis, and customer acquisition payback calculations.
  • Strong understanding of DTC financial metrics, including contribution margin, gross margin, ROAS, CAC, LTV, churn, and retention.
  • Experience managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial controls.
  • Ideally, hands-on experience with NetSuite, including ERP implementation, integrations, or system migrations.
  • Experience managing finance teams, external accountants, and cross-functional financial processes.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modelling skills and experience working with financial reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong commercial judgement — able to challenge assumptions, identify financial risks, and make recommendations that improve profitability.

The Rewards

  • Fully remote – work from anywhere
  • Highly Compensated - Base + Bonus
  • No micromanagement – full ownership
  • Fast-paced, ambitious team culture
  • Growth opportunities in a fast-scaling environment
