Role Overview
This is a role for someone who wants to build and scale a business - without having to start one.
On top of our marketplace we run a growing portfolio of motorcycle services across KL, Johor and Penang, with real customers and real revenue.
This is not a shop-management role. The services work. The job is to turn them into a business that scales - more locations, more volume, new service lines, and a rider base that already buys and sells with us.
You get the brand, the customers, the workshops and the company behind you. You bring the drive to grow it. You run the portfolio the way you would run your own: you set the pricing, decide where the money and effort go, and you are measured on what the businesses return.
At the start, that means running much of it yourself. The team grows around you as the business earns it - so you need to be as comfortable on a workshop floor or on the phone with a customer as you are with a P&L.
What You'll Own
- The numbers - revenue, cost of delivery and margin across the services portfolio. Targets agreed with you, reported monthly.
- Commercial strategy - pricing, packages, promotions, service mix. Your calls.
- Growth and scale - working with Marketing on demand, fixing the funnel where it leaks, and building the model that takes a service from one location to many.
- New services - spotting what riders need next and making the case to build it.
- Delivery - the gap between a customer asking and a customer served. On a service business, that gap is the ceiling.
Requirements
- You have been accountable for a commercial number - revenue, margin or growth of a service or product line - and can talk us through the month it went wrong.
- You have scaled something, not just kept it running - more locations, more volume, a new line launched.
- Commercial instinct. You price, you negotiate, you chase revenue without being asked.
- You read unit economics fluently and act on them rather than reporting them.
- Hands-on by default. You are comfortable running everything yourself - operations, customers, suppliers, the numbers - before the team grows around you. You don't wait for headcount to start delivering.
- You build and hold a team once the business is ready for one.
- Understanding of the automotive or motorcycle industry - or a genuine openness to learning it fast.
- Comfortable with ambiguity - no playbook exists yet. You will write it.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strongly preferred: you have run your own business, or built one inside someone else's - a shop, a workshop, a service line, a franchise, a venture of your own. Success or failure, we want to hear about it. Multi-site service experience is a plus.
This is the wrong role if you are looking for a defined scope to execute, a position where someone else owns the number, or a full team in place before you can deliver.
What You'll Get
- A live services portfolio and the authority to scale it. Not a committee.
- The upside of building without the downside of founding - our capital, brand and customers, and a mandate to grow something that is recognisably yours.
- Room to grow with the results. The scope, the team and the role expand with what you deliver.
- Direct line to leadership. Decisions do not need three layers of approval.
How to Apply
- Send your CV to [email protected] along with one paragraph about a business or service line you grew. Tell us what it was doing when you took it, what it was doing when you left, and what you changed.
