Sweet Zzz is a mattress and bedding brand looking for an exceptional video editor with proven ecommerce advertising experience and advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and AI video creation.

You’ll bring our creative briefs to life through compelling advertising for Meta and YouTube—from polished live-action edits and advanced visual effects to realistic AI footage, animated stories, cartoon ads, and educational product explainers.

Our team provides scripts, creative direction, product assets, and existing footage. You’ll own the editing and visual execution, including generating the AI b-roll and supporting visuals needed to complete each concept.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Turn supplied scripts, briefs, and footage into engaging, polished ecommerce advertisements.
• Create custom motion graphics, visual effects, animations, tracking, and composites using Adobe After Effects.
• Produce realistic AI videos, original AI cartoon sequences, and visual stories with consistent characters, products, and environments.
• Generate AI b-roll and integrate it naturally with product footage, creator content, and other assets.
• Translate supplied scientific and product explanations into clear, accurate visual sequences.
• Refine pacing, sound design, color, captions, transitions, and visual hierarchy to strengthen each ad.
• Adapt creative work for different placements and develop variations based on feedback and advertising insights.
• Maintain accurate product representation and consistent branding.
• Manage projects from initial edit through revisions and final delivery, keeping source files and assets organized.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven professional experience creating video advertisements for ecommerce brands, clearly documented in your CV and supported by relevant work samples.
• Expert proficiency in BOTH Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• A strong professional portfolio demonstrating advanced editing, custom motion graphics, compositing, and visual effects.
• Demonstrated ability to create complete AI videos with coherent storytelling.
• Hands-on experience producing AI cartoon animation and realistic AI footage.
• Strong judgment in selecting, directing, refining, and combining AI-generated assets.
• Excellent attention to detail, including character consistency, natural movement, product accuracy, and clean compositing.
• Strong understanding of advertising hooks, pacing, visual storytelling, and calls to action.
• Ability to interpret creative direction, solve visual challenges independently, and incorporate feedback thoughtfully.
• Clear English communication, reliable follow-through, and availability throughout our required working hours.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

• Full-time employee position: 40 hours per week, with overtime when needed.
• Required working hours: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. US Eastern Time.
• Salary: 2,000–3,500 USD per month, based on demonstrated expertise, portfolio quality, and years of relevant professional experience.

REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS

Your CV must identify the ecommerce brands or clients you supported, your dates of work, and your responsibilities in video editing and production. If you worked through an agency, identify the agency and relevant ecommerce accounts. For confidential accounts, specify the product categories and describe your responsibilities.

1. Two finished AI video examples

Include at least one AI cartoon or animated storytelling video. Your examples should demonstrate your ability to create complete, coherent videos with consistent visuals and polished execution.

1. Two finished e-commerce video advertisements

Show your strongest professional editing, motion graphics, or visual effects work. At least one example must demonstrate custom work created in Adobe After Effects.

VIDEO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Every submitted video must be at least 30 seconds long. Shorter videos will not be accepted.
• Provide direct, accessible links to specific videos rather than only a general portfolio homepage.
• For each example, identify the brand or product, your personal contribution, and the editing software or AI tools used.
• Clearly distinguish your work from contributions made by other team members and identify any templates used.
• A project may satisfy both the AI and ecommerce categories if it meets all relevant requirements. Clearly label which requirements it demonstrates.
