About the Role

We're looking for a confident, experienced and customer-focused Senior Sales Assistant to join our team at our new Paddington Boutique.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves jewellery, fashion, styling and connecting with customers. You'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the store, helping create an elevated and welcoming experience for every customer who walks through the door.

As a senior member of the team, you'll also act as a key point of contact for our casual Sales Assistants when working together on shift. You'll lead by example, support the team with product and customer enquiries, and help ensure our Love Isabelle standards are consistently maintained.

Your Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

• Welcome customers into the store and create a warm, personalised experience.
• Build genuine relationships with customers and understand their individual needs.
• Confidently style and recommend jewellery based on personal style, occasion and budget.
• Share your knowledge of Love Isabelle's collections, materials, craftsmanship and brand story.
• Assist customers with gifting, special occasions, stacking and styling.
• Build relationships with VIP and returning customers.
• Handle customer enquiries, orders, returns, repairs and exchanges with care and professionalism.
• Work towards individual and store sales targets.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through thoughtful styling, cross-selling and product knowledge.

Team Support & Leadership

• Act as a key point of contact for casual Sales Assistants during shifts.
• Support casual team members with product, customer service, POS and store procedure questions.
• Lead by example in customer experience, sales and store presentation.
• Help ensure casual team members understand and follow Love Isabelle's retail standards and processes.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members when required.
• Provide guidance and support to the team during busy trading periods.
• Communicate important customer, stock and operational updates to the Store Manager and Operations team.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive and high-performing team environment.

Store Operations

• Take ownership of the store when working independently.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Complete POS transactions and cash handling accurately.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising.
• Assist with stock management, replenishment, transfers and stocktakes.
• Process online orders, local pickups and other store fulfilment when required.
• Manage customer appointments and special requests.
• Support store launches, events, VIP appointments and promotional periods.
• Communicate customer feedback and product insights to the wider team.

Reporting Structure

Reporting to: Director and Operations Manager

The Senior Sales Assistant will work closely with the Director and Operations Manager, providing support across day-to-day store operations, customer experience, sales and team coordination.
