December is our busiest (and, we think, best) time of year, and we're looking for kind, inclusive and confident people to join the Humble Crumble team for the festive season.

The role is mostly front of house, with some kitchen support. You'll be the first interaction our customers have with Humble Crumble, welcoming them into the bakery, guiding them through our menu and suggesting flavour combinations that will shape their whole crumble eating experience. Being upbeat and giving a smile goes a long way.

You need to be

A people person: you love chatting to customers and helping them make the right crumble decision (although we don't think there's a 'wrong' one).

A crumble LOVER: you think crumble is THE best dessert in the world.

Festive and full of energy: December is all about seasonal specials, gifting and queues out the door. You'll bring festive cheer and keep up the pace, even on the busiest days.

A multi-tasker: we proudly hand make everything and need someone who can help keep the bakery running smoothly during service.

Detail oriented: every crumble should look as good as it tastes.

A passionate foodie: can you describe flavours to someone who has never tried our product?

As a Seasonal Crumble Artist you will

• Create a warm, positive and clean atmosphere in the shop
• Build rapport with customers and encourage them to return
• Open and close the shop and keep the space tidy at all times
• Help create a vibrant, sociable place to work

Desired Experience

Experience in hospitality, retail, a bakery or a commercial kitchen. A passion for baking and all things patisserie is a big plus.
