We’re hiring: Retention Strategist (full-time contractor, remote, US hours)

No Limit Email is a retention agency for DTC ecommerce brands. We’ve helped 200+ brands generate over $80M in email-attributed revenue. We work in pods — strategist, copywriter, designer, tech — and we’re looking for someone to own one.

You’d run 5–6 accounts: the strategy, the client relationship, and the retention number. Not an execution role, but you need to be in the tools enough to build the segment, troubleshoot the flow, and know whether what you designed can actually be built.

You’ll be a fit if you

• Ask whether it’s even an email problem before building another flow. Flat repeat purchase can be acquisition quality, product, offer or merchandising — you check upstream first.
• Read cohorts properly: repeat purchase rate over time, time between first and second order, LTV curves. You know why Shopify’s “returning customer rate” isn’t a repeat rate.
• Run real holdouts to prove incremental lift, measured on repeat purchase and time-to-reorder — not platform-attributed revenue.
• Know first-to-second purchase migration cold: architecture, timing, offer logic, measurement.
• Are hands-on in Klaviyo and the stack around it — Recharge, Rebuy, Loop, Wonderment, and a cohort tool like Lifetimely, Peel or Triple Whale.
• Have run several accounts in parallel at an agency or a high-growth DTC brand.
• Use AI every day to unblock yourself rather than escalate. Claude and Claude Code specifically. If you’re not already working this way, this isn’t the role.
• Manage your own day. We don’t micromanage and we don’t want to.
