About the role

BulkSupplements.com manufactures and sells hundreds of supplement ingredients and finished products direct to consumers, and our operations run on NetSuite. We’re hiring an Operations Manager whose job is to make the system and the plant agree.

Roughly 80% of this role is process and systems work: owning how purchasing, planning, inventory, production, transfers, and lab release are modeled and executed in NetSuite, finding where the workflow breaks, and fixing it. The other 20% is on the manufacturing floor and in the warehouse, chasing down the physical causes of the problems the data surfaces — a staging area that creates count errors, a transfer step nobody logs, a lab bottleneck that strands finished goods.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day of those functions through their supervisors, and build the processes and reporting that let the operation scale. This is the right job for someone who gets more satisfaction from a clean cycle count and an accurate demand plan than from running a shift.

We’re vertically integrated in Southern Nevada, from raw material intake through manufacturing, lab release, packaging, and fulfillment, selling through our website, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and wholesale. We operate under cGMP with our own quality lab.

What you’ll do

• Own NetSuite as the operational system of record: work orders, assemblies and BOMs, inventory transactions, lot tracking, purchase orders, transfer orders, and the reporting built on them
• Design and document the end-to-end process from demand forecast to purchase order to work order to lab release to available inventory, and get every team working from it
• Run production planning: balance demand, raw material availability, lab release timing, and labor so we hit output without overbuilding stock
• Oversee purchasing and supplier management for raw materials, packaging, and consumables, including lead times, reorder points, and cost
• Drive inventory accuracy: cycle count program, location discipline, and inter-warehouse and production transfers that match the floor
• Spend regular time in the plant and warehouse identifying the physical root causes behind system discrepancies, and fix them with the supervisors
• Partner with QC/QA on lab scheduling and release so quality is never the bottleneck
• Build KPIs, dashboards, and SOPs; develop supervisors; put the structure in place for the next stage of growth

What we’re looking for

Required

• 5+ years in operations, supply chain, planning, or manufacturing systems at a nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or food manufacturer
• Hands-on NetSuite experience running manufacturing operations: work orders, assemblies, inventory, and purchasing. We’ll consider deep experience in another ERP if you’ve been through a NetSuite implementation or migration.
• A track record of designing or re-engineering operational processes, not just following them
• 3+ years managing people in a production or warehouse environment
• Working knowledge of cGMP (21 CFR Part 111 or 117)

Preferred

• Experience configuring NetSuite yourself: saved searches, workflows, custom fields, dashboards, or SuiteScript/SuiteFlow
• Demand planning or MRP experience
• Powders, blending, encapsulation, or bulk packaging environments
• Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement training

Compensation and benefits

• $105,000–$130,000 per year, depending on experience
