Happy Head is premium, dermatologist-prescribed hair medicine. Run by an experienced consumer health leadership team, we are the largest online dermatology telehealth platform for hair globally, and we focus on custom compounded hair medicine. Unlike online competitors that treat various conditions with limited standard options, the flexible Happy Head platform enables our dermatologists to use their full expertise in prescribing the optimal medicine for each patient, whether that means higher than standard dosing, atypical modalities or off-label uses.

We are building a panel of practicing dermatologists and hair transplant surgeons to work with Happy Head in two ways. First, they will be the medical faces and voices of the brand: on camera in our ads, and behind the educational content we publish. Second, internally the panel will regularly suggest, discuss and review new and developing product ideas with our leadership team. Roles vary by member; some will film regularly, others will mainly review and put their name to the content we publish. Panel members are asked to work exclusively with Happy Head within the telehealth hair loss category. You keep your practice, your schedule and your medical independence.

The offer, in plain terms

• $1,000 for the screen test. If we invite you to audition, we pay you $1,000 to film a short video at home on your phone. That footage is for our selection team only. It is never published or used in advertising, and it gives Happy Head no rights to your name, image or likeness. The $1,000 is payment for your time in applying, nothing more.
• Paid competitive rate for filming. Panel members earn up to $1,000 an hour on shoot days, typically one or two days per quarter. These media products may be used in various advertising channels, including Instagram, TV and other media. We cover travel, hair and makeup and all production costs.
• A monthly retainer for the exclusive use of your likeness and for content review, agreed individually with finalists.
• Paid hourly for writing and review work beyond the retainer.

What you would do

• Film social, digital, television and patient education videos on scheduled shoot days.
• Review, edit and approve educational articles, social content and scripts published under your name. Nothing goes out with your name on it that you have not signed off.
• Take part in our partnership ads program. With your approval of each creative and caption, Happy Head may run sponsored ads through your professional social media handles. We pay all media costs, and nothing appears on your feed unless you choose to post it.

Who we are looking for

• U.S.-based, actively practicing board-certified dermatologists or hair transplant surgeons.
• Clear, warm communicators who take medical accuracy seriously. You do not need to be an influencer, and no existing social media following is required.
• Physicians available for occasional filming and responsive content review. Panel members agree not to represent competing hair treatment brands during the engagement; your own practice, including its hair services, is always yours to promote.

How it works

1. Apply at https://forms.gle/DswZqRxms8wxoLBN8 with your CV or practice bio, a professional headshot, and any video or social links you would like us to see. Existing video is optional. It takes about ten minutes.
2. Paid screen test. Selected applicants receive a short creative brief and filming guidance. You complete it at home within ten days and we pay you $1,000 via Zelle or Paypal.
3. Meet the team. Finalists talk with us about the retainer, filming schedule and how you like to work.
4. Join the panel.
