Monastic Media is a D2C performance marketing and e-commerce agency in Piplod, Surat. We make ad videos and run Meta and Google ads for D2C (direct-to-consumer) brands: ₹40 Cr+ in ad spend managed, ₹175 Cr+ in revenue created for brands, 5+ years.

As our D2C UGC Cinematographer you shoot UGC videos, reels and product videos for our D2C client brands, in our Surat studio and on location. You set up the frame and the light, shoot with creators and products, and do a basic first edit, so our brand managers and video editors can move fast. Your footage becomes the UGC ads and reels these brands run on Instagram and Meta.

This is a full-time, in-office role in Surat. You work with our shoot coordinators, brand managers, creators and video editors.

What you will do

• Shoot UGC videos, reels and product videos for D2C brands on camera and phone
• Set up lights, sound and frames for every shoot
• Follow the script and shot list, and suggest better shots on set
• Do a basic first edit (cuts, sound, captions) for reels and UGC ads
• Keep footage organised and hand it to the edit team the same day

What we look for

• A portfolio of reels, UGC or product videos you shot (required)
• 1+ years shooting for brands, creators or an agency
• Good with lights, framing and sound on small sets
• Basic editing in Premiere Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve
• Based in Surat or ready to move to Surat
