Particula is a lean, fast-moving team where technology, hardware and consumer product design meet, and where the finance function has to keep pace with a company scaling quickly across new product lines, licensing deals and international markets.

THE ROLE

As Controller, you will own Particula’s financial close, reporting and controls, the backbone that lets a fast-growing, multi-product company scale with confidence. You’ll work closely with the CFO on everything from monthly close to investor reporting, while bringing structure and automation to a finance function that is being built out.

We’re looking for someone hands-on who is comfortable working directly across the finance function and continuously looking for ways to improve how we work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own the monthly and annual close process end to end.
• Manage payroll processing and related compliance.
• Prepare annual financial reports and statutory filings.
• Manage the annual audit process and the relationship with external auditors.
• Prepare investor reports and support board/investor materials.
• Build and maintain financial controls and processes as the company scales.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting and cash management.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes, including through AI and other tools.
• Oversee the bookkeeping and AP functions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of finance and accounting experience, including hands-on experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a startup environment.
• Israeli CPA.
• Strong knowledge of Israeli GAAP.
• Very strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Financial process management experience, including month-end close, payroll, annual reports and investor reports.
• Experience preparing and managing tax reporting, including VAT and corporate tax, and liaising with tax authorities.
• Experience with an ERP/accounting system used by Israeli startups, such as Priority, NetSuite or SAP Business One.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proven comfort adopting AI tools in day-to-day work.

STRONG ADVANTAGES

• Experience with inventory and COGS accounting, including manufacturing cost accounting.
• Multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation experience.
• US GAAP experience.
• Due diligence experience.
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction VAT/sales tax, given Particula’s EU, UK and US distribution.
• Hebrew proficiency. Strong Hebrew is preferred but not required.
