Electro makes functional electrolyte gum designed for athletes who need performance, focus, and recovery without added sugar. Our network includes a large base of college athlete ambassadors and partnerships with NBA and NFL players.

This is an unpaid, remote internship in sales and business development. You will learn a real outbound sales process by applying it to NIL, reaching out to college athletes and turning conversations into signed athlete partnerships.

School credit is available. If your university offers internship credit, we will sign the forms, complete supervisor evaluations, and verify your hours so this internship counts toward your degree.

Your Role

• Track every lead, conversation, and deal stage in our CRM and report on weekly pipeline numbers.
• Respond to athlete messages daily with accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
• Build strong athlete relationships through clear and supportive communication.
• Manage daily follow-ups with athletes to keep partnerships progressing.
• Prospect and qualify college athletes as potential brand partners, the same way an SDR builds and works a sales pipeline.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date athlete records.
• Identify strong athlete content for potential use on Electro's channels.

Ideal Candidate

• Current or former college athletes, or candidates with NIL experience, are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of NIL agreements (training is provided).
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote startup environment.
• Knowledge of college sports, including major programs and conferences.
• Students in business, sales, or sports management programs are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to commit a few hours each day on a flexible schedule.
