On-siteNew York, NYFull-time$70K - $75KPosted 5 days ago

About the role

We’re looking for an Associate Project Manager to be the command center for the day-to-day work on one of our licensed programs, a fast-growing line of collectibles, playsets, plush and more based on a popular entertainment brand. You’ll keep product, packaging, licensing, sales and production aligned, give the team one clear view of where every item stands, and make sure deliverables are completed on time.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of contact for the program and coordinate day-to-day work across teams.
  • Maintain the delivery roadmap, project schedules and key milestones from concept through production.
  • Make sure tech packs are completed on schedule so development stays on track.
  • Track product and packaging submissions to the licensor, from concept through final approval, so approvals land in time for key ship dates.
  • Support the licensing team in keeping approvals moving and feedback addressed.
  • Coordinate packaging development and production, including retail packaging, PDQ trays and other secondary packaging.
  • Follow up on open items and aggressively push through anything stuck in process.
  • Flag problems early, before they cause delays.
  • Help set realistic delivery timelines for new requests based on the current pipeline.
  • Send a weekly status report on priorities, progress and risks, and contribute to quarterly reporting for leadership.
  • Promote program awareness with the sales team by regularly sharing new items, timelines and program highlights.
  • Keep item and project data accurate and in sync across teams and tools.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of project management or coordination experience, ideally in consumer products, toys or collectibles.
  • Familiarity with licensing approval processes (concept, pre-production and final submissions) for product and packaging is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of packaging development, including retail packaging and PDQs, is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with a habit of keeping records accurate and consistent across systems.
  • Able to work across teams and hold people accountable without direct authority.
  • Comfortable with project management tools (Airtable, Monday.com, Excel and Google Sheets).
  • Genuine interest in collectibles, toys and fan communities.

Salary: $70,000-$75,000
